Herbaceous Borders
This image is of one of the borders inside the Walled Garden of a Private Garden I looked after many years ago. I was fast-tracked to Head Gardener which greatly encouraged me and developed my knowledge and love for horticulture. This mixture of formal and informal planting really brings joy and tranquility and a harmonious blend of nature and elegance.
Bee good to the bees
At another Large Estate, we wanted to be kind to the bees and other beneficial insects and so we created a beautiful wildflower meadow to offset the formally mowed and managed lawns. This fantastic array of flowers proved very useful for floral displays in the House. Especially towards the end of the season when the Cut Flower Garden was becoming sparse.
